Gabriella began her yoga practice in 1973 in Florence, Italy. After earning a Doctorate in Physics, she chose to dedicate her life to yoga in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar, studying with the Iyengars annually since 1983.
She holds a Junior Advanced Certificate and has been teaching since 1987 at her studio in Florence, as well as leading workshops in Europe and the United States. Gabriella Giubilaro is known for her dynamic teaching, clarity, good humor, and attention to individual needs.
